Review: I’m actually impressed with the small size. The details are much clearer, especially on the faces — the eyes, nose, and mouth are recognizable, and the shading makes sense. The lines are clean and the color map looks accurate, so I can actually see what the final painting is supposed to look like. What surprises me the most is that the small, cheaper size has better detail than the large one, which shouldn’t happen. This version proves that the photo can be turned into a proper paint-by-numbers, so the problem is clearly with the way the large size was processed. Overall, the small size is good, usable, and much closer to the original image.
